Why are you interested in serving on the HBA Board of Directors?
I’ve been around the home building business my entire life. My father has been a home builder here in
the Greater Lansing area since 1977 so I basically grew up on the job site. I have a great passion and
respect for the industry as a whole and would love to see this region continue with the growth and
momentum that we have seen the last few years. I’ve worked and built homes in larger metropolitan
areas (Atlanta, Chicago, & New York City), and have seen what draws and encourages growth in these
areas. I grew up in the Greater Lansing area and call it my home once again, and want to contribute to
this region in the most positive way I can, and being on the HBA board would be a great way to do so.

me great advice and encouraged me to be a part of the training opportunities the HBA offers. Their
efforts have had a positive impact on my life, and the success of our family business. So, it is with
a grateful attitude that I look forward to the opportunity to serve and give back to the HBA. I look forward
